Donald F. Wihl has a wealth of experience in governance and has conducted numerous successful political campaigns at city, county and state levels, both for candidates and issues.One of Wihl's greatest strengths is that he has an extensive network of associates and acquaintances that he can bring together to get things done.

His talents lie in board governance and achieving mission on time and budget.He provides strong leadership and is a known stickler about sound fiscal responsibility.Wihl served as Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation's Enforcement Division for the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.For years he has done advisory work for the Board of Elections and continues training personnel on the use of new voting equipment .

After graduating from Aquinas High School, Wihl served four years in the U.S. Air Force.Upon returning to Columbus he began working in sales of construction machinery.He was encouraged to get into politics and was appointed to the Franklin County Board of Elections, where he served until he went to work for the PUCO.

Wihl has been on the board of the Marian Foundation for 18 years, helping direct activities of the privately funded charitable organization that supports selected projects that assist the needy -- including providing scholarships.

He also has done extensive fund-raising work for parochial schools as well as a variety of charitable organizations.He has assisted with the Bishop's Annual Diocesan Development Fund and was Grand Knight for five years with the Knights of Columbus Council 2898.He is a trustee and on the board of directors of Club 2898 and treasurer of Santa Maria Charities, Inc.
