    Dr. Richard Wihera has spent the last 20 years working as a consultant with law enforcement agencies and in this capacity has worked with over 150 police departments across the country.He has personally interviewed well over 15,000 law enforcement applicants and works regularly with many agencies throughout Colorado including the Colorado State Patrol and the cities of Denver, Aurora, Pueblo and Greeley.In addition to pre-employment evaluations, Dr. Wihera performs special assignment evaluations, promotional assessments, critical incident debriefings, "fitness for duty" evaluations, and a variety of training.Dr. Wihera received his Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver and is licensed as a Psychologist in five states including Colorado.He augmented his "book learning" by completing an academy and serving as Reserve Officer with the San Jose (California) Police Department in order to view the streets from an officer's perspective.As a consultant for the Denver Police Department, Dr. Wihera has been instrumental in revising their selection process before a conditional offer of employment has been tendered.He will be discussing pre-offer and post-offer psychological evaluations within the constraints of the ADA.
