The predictions appear on Whyte's Northern Ireland election website.
Whyte's own predictions hand huge victories to the DUP and Sinn Féin.He speculates that the DUP will romp home with 30 seats to the UUP's 23 seats, while Sinn Féin will lead the SDLP by ten seats at 27 seats to the SDLP's 17.

Commenting on the predictions, Whyte said that while there was an element of "gamesmanship", none of his own forecasts could be ruled out.The SDLP and UUP have dismissed speculation that they will be surpassed by their rivals.
