Rebecca Whittemore: Becca resides on a gentle hillside in a peaceful valley region of Starksboro known as Jerusalem Corners in South Starksboro, in the Vermont Green Mountains. She founded Mosaic Information Systems Consulting in 1993. The corporate office is located on her property, on the sunny side of Mount Ellen with clear views of other beautiful peaks in the Green Mountain range. From her window or front stoop (hurray for wireless!), she can gaze at the Green Mountain National Forest.

Becca has been working in business information processing since 1970 and has worked in several different industries during her career, such as manufacturing, order processing, marketing information management, banking, insurance, travel and tour operations, telephone company operations, and waste management. She started using computer information processing technology while working at Liberty Mutual Insurance, in Portsmouth, NH, progressing from a "coder/rater" to "discrepancy clerk.

Becca also sings professionally with an alt-rock band. She has been singing seriously for about 4 years now, though the "professional" part of it is much more recent.

In 1982, she started a small business offering secretarial and mailing list management services, using a TRS80 and one of the earliest personal productivity packages available.In 1985, she went to work for Vermont Bicycle Touring (VBT), a Bristol, Vermont, company, and in 1989 was in charge of taking that company from a paper-based reservations system onto an IBM AS/400 Model B10, running a purchased reservations package licensed from Tauck Tours in Connecticut.She automated VBT's back office operations to the point where they no longer needed a full-time information systems expert, on staff.She subsequently worked for such notables as Vermont Student Assistance Corp (as an employee) and Selectronics (Waitsfield/Champlain Valley Telecom, as a freelancer).In 1993, she founded a small one-person consulting/contracting service, offering AS/400 programming and management services.In 2000, Mosaic Information Systems Consulting was incorporated (Subchapter S) and added two partners, one of whom was a second programmer/analyst.
