Susan Walker White , an analyst with J.P. Morgan & Co. , said that's one reason why her view of Yahoo's future remains bright. In the second quarter , 15 percent of Yahoo's revenue was from outside the United States , compared with 9 percent a year ago , and nearly 40 percent of Yahoo users live overseas.
That's a major advantage that Yahoo has versus AOL Time Warner.AOL Time Warner will be primarily domestically focused -- that's where the assets are for both companies , said Walker White , who also covers AOL.And that leaves the rest of the world for Yahoo..

Before signing a contract with an ASP , the big companies will want assurances that the ASPs will offer strong service and support and provide application-specific service level agreements , said White.
Some of the 25 top ASPs examined in the study focus on large companies , such as Qwest Cyber.Solutions ; Sprint Corp.UUNet , a division of WorldCom ; and Capstan. However , the majority of the ASPs are currently executing a niche marketing strategy targeted at small- and mid-sized businesses , he said , noting as examples Interliant , offering collaborative applications ; TriZetto , serving the healthcare market ; and Pandesic , a joint venture between Intel and SAP , focused on e-commerce.
