Mr. White came to MCGI in January of 1999 after successfully establishing Altos Management Partners Inc., a consulting and modeling firm serving the energy industries. Prior to his forming Altos, Richard was Director of Member Services for the Electric Power Research Institute, Palo Alto, CA: EPRI is addressing serious transitional problems as the premier research entity in an industry that is in the process of deregulation. Then, using standard commercial software, developed and implemented an in-house client contact tracking system that allows all staff members to share critical client information as part of an ongoing business development process. While at DFI Mr. White developed a "most profitable" marketing profile and strategy suited to the latest changes in the industry for Shell Canada Ltd., Calgary, Canada. The strategy was adopted and is currently a integral part of their three year marketing strategy for both Canada and the United States.
Mr. White's consulting work outside of the energy industries include work with Burns, Doane, Swecker & Mathis, Palo Alto, CA: BDS&M is a leading intellectual properties law firm with offices in California and Washington DC where he developed a client profile and market research process for assessing the probable viability of a new office location; and Adtech Micro Systems, Inc. and SoftShell Systems, Inc., both high-tech development firms where he developed similar successful strategies.

"Companies rarely understand the real dynamics of their market nor the business development process by which they attract and keep customers. MCGI not only understands the business development process but integrates data collection, high technology, and use of the Internet into the process to assure that we get as complete a picture as possible of the road ahead. Few organizations have the ability and foresight to combine smart people with smart technology in this fashion."
