Last year, Isabel wreaked havoc on the setup, and this year, CenterFest coordinator Paul White is waiting to see whether Ivan will hamper the event, slated for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
"To tell you how much we're keeping up with this," White said, "people can go to our Web site, www.centerfest.durhamarts.org, where we have a link to the latest projected Ivan track.

White added that this year includes a new CenterFest initiative.
"There will be plenty of opportunities to register to vote.I've even borrowed some voting machines.This is a great big event, the deadline to register is October, so why not take advantage of the chance?"he asked.
Additionally, White said Joe & Jo's Downtown will offer a beer garden that will serve alcoholic beverages.
