Kay White stepped down as Secretary of the club after nearly 17 years at the club.

When Kay first started she knew nothing about football and didn't even know what a fullback was.

Kay started helping out in the canteen in 1989 and held various other positions at the club.

Her husband Dallas was a legendary front rower and life member of Comboyne.

According to Comboyne football club publicity officer Dave Ward, Kay was a great member of the club who helped in every way possible.

"Kay has probably held every position at the club at one stage or another," he said.

Despite stepping down from her role at Comboyne football club Kay is sure to still be a part of the club in one way or another and has retained her position at the Hastings League Register.

The club will now find it hard to replace Kay according to Dave ward.

"Kay has left enormous boots to fill," Mr Ward said.
