Joe White is founder and CEO of CostDown Consulting.  His practice focuses on developing cost control programs and training for companies that use trucks and drivers to service their customers.  Prior to starting his practice, Joe’s trucking experience included 12 years managing regional field operations for Ryder Systems and 5 years directing a corporate planning department for Allied Automotive Group.Throughout his career, Joe has reduced costs at every position held.  While managing regional trucking operations, he improved driver productivity and fleet utilization at all his locations, generating an 80% improvement in EBITDA.  In his corporate planning position he developed cost reduction programs for 80 locations across North America that generated $8MM in savings.Joe started CostDown Consulting because he recognized the need of smaller fleet-operating companies to be able to contract for big-company expertise to help reduce their operating costs.
