Prior to joining Ernst & Young, LLP, James was a senior auditor with a regional accounting firm, where he specialized in local government and not-for-profit entities, such as the City of Albany, Georgia, City of East Point, Georgia, and 100 Black Men of America.

James began work with a regional accounting firm, in Atlanta, where he specialized in local government and not for profit entities in 1997.In December of 1999, he transferred to Ernst & Young, specializing in the financial services sector.He serves as manager on a global priority account for Ernst & Young LLP, in addition to servicing the largest mortgage banking enterprise / real estate investment trust based in the state of Georgia.James was recently offered an opportunity to work with E&Y in Germany for three years.
