James Waite Chairman

James Waite co-founded Adgistics, and was appointed Chairman in 2009. Between 1994 and 2000 he established and ran a digital design agency within the Leagas Delaney Group. Subsequently he has contributed as a strategist and writer to an array of agency and client organisations, and co-founded an international photojournalism agency. He is a partner in Globalegacy LLP, consulting for commercial development in emerging economies with multinational business and advisory groups.

JAMES WAITE, Creative DirectorA former writer and documentary film maker, James Waite founded and grew design agency The Digital Partners as CEO between 1995 and 2000, working with international brands to produce on-line communications.Since then he has developed a design consultancy which provides innovative concepts for business structures and delivers exactingly produced expressions of that work.

James Waite began his career as a documentary film maker, working as an independent writer and director.He went on to found an internet design consultancy in 1994, working with a group of renowned global brands as well as with several meteoric start-ups.The company grew significantly under his leadership, and combined state-of-the-art design and content services with a business development and consultancy offering.

Concentrating on business development, James founded a handful of enterprises in commercial and editorial communications that continue to take advantage of supply chain innovations enabled by use of the internet.As a co-founder of VII, a photojournalism agency of which he is presently non-executive chairman, James advanced a model of non-standard business structure that went some way to combining the ethical stance of a co-operative with the dynamic capability of a for-profit business.

James has continued to work as a consultant, systems designer and writer for both commercial and non-commercial clients.

He received a bachelor's degree in Human Sciences from University College London in 1990, and lives in London with his wife and three children.
