Ruby remained active and independent for 93 years with the help of wonderful relatives and close friends in the Weatherford, Texas area.She lived her final three years with, and being cared for by, her devoted son and his wife Hogan and Mary Wharton of Houston.Ruby was an incredible homemaker.She enjoyed china painting, sewing for family, cooking and telling family stories.She was the ever-present teacher of family history.She preserved family heirlooms and made sure her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren knew their value.This was her wonderful legacy.
