Patricia A. Wendland

Patricia Wendland was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and will serve as the Latin teacher for the Academy.She has an undergraduate degree from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, and has completed graduate work at Georgetown University and De Paul University.Patricia most recently taught Latin at The Asheville School in Asheville, North Carolina, and has prior teaching experience at St. Boniface in Milwaukee, and Greenfield Middle School and Greenfield High School, both in Greenfield, Wisconsin.Her professional experience in education includes membership in the Wisconsin High School Forensic Association Team; debate and forensic coach; advisor for student newspaper; chairman of sectional meeting of the Wisconsin Conference of Teachers of English; member of panel on Conducting a Co-curricular Speech Program at Wisconsin Teachers' Convention; Editor of Greenfield teachers' newsletter; curriculum development for the School District of Greenfield; member of the Wisconsin School Evaluation Consortium Audit Team; Chairman of the English Department; and cooperating teacher with Marquette University School of Education and their student-teaching program.
