David WenderDavid Wender started his career as a floor clerk for Copper-Neff on the Commodity Exchange, Inc., in 1990, and began trading gold options for the firm the following year.He then traded silver options for the KBI Group, and, in 1993, began trading refined product options for the firm on the New York Mercantile Exchange.He began trading crude oil options on his own in 1994.Mr. Wender is a former board member of the Exchange, and served as chairman of the options advisory and technology committees.In 2002, he co-founded Upper Hand Technologies which builds options and risk management software for commodity traders.Mr. Wender holds a bachelor of science degree in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
