Mr. Florence Wells

Born in Taunton, MA, a son of the late Joseph and Florence (Granovsky) Wells, he lived in the Providence / Pawtucket area for 46 years before moving to Florida in 1996.Mr. Wells received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Boston University in 1940.J.M. Wells Furniture Co. of Taunton was founded by his father and other relatives in the early 1900's.Entering the business after WWII, Mr. Wells eventually expanded it to include a store in Foxboro.He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre.Mr. Wells was a former member of Temple Emanu El.He was a member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the Jewish War Veterans, and he was a member of the Redwood Lodge of the Masons.He was an avid card player and bowler.
