Wells said the FAA investigated PJ for 12 months, and in January 2007, auditors returned for a follow-up visit.
"Thankfully it was a scheduled visit," he said.

Wells said he never received any written correspondence from the FAA before, during or since his company's audit.
Relationships between owners, pilots, air charter brokers and the air carrier will be looked at under a microscope.
