    Merle Weiner moved to Arizona from Los Angeles 31 years ago and joined Temple Gan Elohim in 2006, where she serves both on the board and as the temple's volunteer coordinator. Merle has been involved in volunteer service management for 28 years, first at Temple Solel in Scottsdale and now at TGE. Merle and her husband of 35 years, Arnie, have one daughter, Sharon, who leads TGE's NFTY program. Merle currently serves as the President of the Pacific Southwest Council of the Union for Reform Judaism.
