Dr. Melvyn Weiner

Melvyn Weiner, MDDr. Weiner founded Long Island Radiology Associates in 1960.He has been practicing radiology since 1952 and has been a fellow of the American College of Radiology since 1979.Dr. Weiner received his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center in 1946 and completed his internship at Kings County Hospital in 1947.He served in the U.S. Army as Captain in the Medical Corp from 1947 to 1949, before completing his residency at NY University in 1952.Dr. Weiner was Director of Radiology at St. Joseph's Hospital in Far Rockaway for 10 years and Director of Radiology at Long Beach Memorial Hospital for 17 years.He has been Director Emeritus at Long Beach since 1989.
