Born and raised in Cary, North Carolina, Matt is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received dual degrees in Political Science and Economics, as well as a minor in Spanish. He has worked as an intern for McCuiston Law Offices since 2002. When in the office, Matt works in all areas of the practice drafting documents, performing legal research, and providing litigation support – the area of law he most particularly enjoys.

He will attend UNC School of Law beginning in the fall of 2004 and hopes someday to start his own practice. He brings to the office great efficiency and young energy, and saves some of that energy for his passion for hunting and fishing.

Matt attends the UNC School of Law, where he hopes to draw on the wide variety of experiences he has gained working at the firm.He aspires to open his own practice someday.

Outside the office, Matt spends a great deal of his time in the outdoors.During the spring and summer, he pursues game fish, including trout and bass.Over the fall and winter months, Matt is an avid hunter of deer and waterfowl across Eastern North Carolina.
