GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending has named Dustin R. Weinberger vice president of origination for the Central Region.Based in Chicago, Weinberger will be responsible for originating lending opportunities among middle-market corporate customers throughout the state of Illinois.He will report to Roger Tauchman, senior vice president and team leader, Central Region, Corporate Lending.
Weinberger most recently served as vice president of strategic marketing for GE Corporate Lending.Prior to GE, he worked in consulting and marketing roles for the Atlanta Committee of the Olympics Games, Borg-Warner and Burns International.
"With his corporate finance knowledge and industry experience, Dustin Weinberger will make a significant contribution to our Midwest Region business development efforts," said Rich Rodgers, managing director.

Weinberger is a member of the Executive's Club of Chicago, Association for Corporate Growth and Turnaround Management Association.He holds a BBA from the University of Oklahoma, and is an MBA candidate at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
