  Harry Weiler currently is and has been the President & CEO of AXYS Technologies Inc. since 2001. AXYS Technologies is a remote meteorological, oceanographic and environmental monitoring systems company. AXYS enjoys a strong partnership with Environment Canada and sells its products and services internationally. Prior to this position, Harry spent a couple of years in management & business consulting on Vancouver Island. Before his move to Victoria, Harry was responsible as the Business Unit Director for Aviation & Advanced Manufacturing for DRS Technologies & Spar Aerospace in Ottawa, Ontario. Harry also spent 13 years in the Canadian Military as an Engineering & Cartographic Officer. Harry is currently active in the local high-tech community as well as being a board member in the following organizations: VIATeC, Cooperative Ocean Information Network - Pacific (COINPacific), Industry Canada's - Shipbuilding and Industrial Marine Advisory Council (SIMAC), Ocean Renewable Energy Group (OREG), and UVic's - Canadian Buoyed Monitoring Network (CBMN).
