  Before his appointment in 1997 to CEO, Mr. Weiland served as Chief Fiduciary Officer of Northern Trust Bank of Texas N.A.He has more than 30 years experience in the trust and investment management industry.
  
  After beginning his career at Continental Illinois National Bank in 1973, Mr. Weiland moved to Texas in 1979 to become Manager of Employee Benefits for Texas Commerce Bank.In 1987, he joined First Republic (Bank of America) to manage Corporate and Institutional Trust.
  
  Mr. Weiland earned a B.B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago and a M.B.A. from DePaul University.
  
  He is a past Chairman of the Trust Financial Services Division of the Texas Bankers Association and has served on various industry related committees including the American Bankers Association, as well as the Texas Bankers Association.
  
  Mr. Weiland is active in a broad range of civic and professional organizations.He is Chairman of The Dallas Opera and currently serves on the Audit Committee for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Steering Committee for the Cathedral Restoration and Preservation Fund.In addition, he is on the boards of Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Historical Society, and The Science Place.
