    Ms. Weilage has worked for BRI since 1997 in a variety of positions.Beginning in 1998, Ms. Weilage worked as a propagation assistant with responsibilities including seed collection, cleaning and treatment prior to mycorrhizal inoculation.In 2002, Ms. Weilage became a research assistant and in 2003, due to her research on projects with a mycorrhizal component, took on the responsibility of BRI's mycorrhizal program.Her work has included both custom and commercial inoculum.Specifically, custom inoculation procedures involve capturing spores from native soil, bulking up the spores for use on custom grown plants, inoculating custom grown plants, and sampling and staining roots to examine colonization rates.Ms. Weilage's main emphasis has been on VA mycorrhizae, but she has also worked with ectomycorrhizae.Prior to working at BRI, Ms. Weilage was a biology teaching assistant and worked on the IPM weed control program for the University of Montana.In addition, Ms. Weilage worked on air quality assessment for the Missoula City/County Health Department.In Nebraska, Ms. Weilage worked in environmental education at the Chet Ager Nature Center.
