Barry Weidenbaum is a member in good standing of the Bars of New York and New Jersey. Prior to becoming the partner in charge of the Commercial Transactions Division of Weidenbaum & Harari, Mr. Weidenbaum was an Assistant Counsel with the New York State Housing Finance Agency, the State of New York Mortgage Agency and the New York State Project Finance Agency. Mr. Weidenbaum was formerly an associate in the Commercial Real Estate Department at the New York office of Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen, LLP. Mr. Weidenbaum has negotiated and closed numerous sophisticated real estate and corporate transactions, including leases, easement issues, licenses, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, and has advised clients on the telecommunications aspects of such transactions. Mr. Weidenbaum has litigated on behalf of corporate clients in State and Federal Courts. Mr. Weidenbaum is also the author of numerous published articles including "Riverboat Casinos: Floating Security Interests" published in the Gaming Law Review. In addition to having a Juris Doctorate degree, Mr. Weidenbaum also has a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting.
