Wehrli, owner of Wehrli World Travel in Naperville, was tapped for her involvement with the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Edward Hospital Foundation, the Rotary Club of Naperville and other community groups.

Wehrli has lived in Naperville her entire life.She is one of 10 children of James Wehrli, a Naperville businessman and city council member who did much to revitalize downtown.Since her mother died when she was 16, Wehrli said family has been the most important part of her life.

"I'm a firm believer that the quality of life you lead starts with family and extends out into the community," she said.

Sue Wehrli, owner of Wehrli World Travel in Naperville, has been informing her clients about the new regulation since last fall.She said she won't book a trip for anyone outside the country if they don't have a passport.

"For security reasons, the U.S. government has made a very wise decision," she said.

Wehrli agrees that getting a passport sooner rather than later is good advice.She said the document will ultimately save time, eliminate worries and make the entire experience more fun.

"I feel a passport is going to make travel easier," Wehrli said.
