Lyrics from one poem have been published and performed through Ex Tenebris. In the past David has written a weekly newspaper column in the Beeton Record. He resides now on the left coast of Canada and is currently a full time writer.

Journal, Captains of Consciousness, Current Day, Heritage Writer, Inkspotter, Poetry Canada and Quills Canadian Poetry Magazine, to name a few.In 2004, he won first place in a poetry contest sponsored by Mocha Memoirs, for his poem 'Writer's Block' (a subject he himself has neverexperienced).He has just published his first book of poetry; a chapbook entitled 'The Elephant Keeper & Other Pomes'.He is also currently the Secretary of the Writer's Circle of Durham Region. see www.wcdr.org

His poetry and short fiction have appeared in over 40 journals including Three Candles, Regina Weese, Ardent, and Ygdrasil.He has published a collection of his poetry, Going to the Well (2004), a collection of short fiction, The Dark Side of the Billboard (2006).This spring, 2006, HMS Press, London, Ontario will publish a small chapbook of his poetry.He is at present working on his second collection of poetry, Barefoot After Dark.Currently he is the Federation of BC Writers Regional Director for The Islands Region.This summer he will be a finalist judge for the Pacific Region Arts Council's Writing Competition.
