Maginus appoints Simon Weeks as CEO
Manchester, March 20, 2007 - Maginus, a leading provider of multi-channel retail and distribution solutions, has announced the appointment of Simon Weeks as CEO.Simon Weeks joins Maginus from K3 Business Technology Group, where he was Managing Director of the company's multi-channel retail and distribution business.He brings over 15 years' senior management experience to his new role at Maginus, and deep software industry expertise from previous roles in sales management, consulting, customer services and systems development.

As Managing Director at K3, Simon Weeks was responsible for significant organisational and operational changes as the company integrated a recent acquisition.During his time with K3 he helped the company grow its multi-channel retail business by 30 per cent, more than doubling the average deal size and leading several major customer wins.
Before joining K3, Simon Weeks held senior management positions at Visibility Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of the US provider of manufacturing software and services.He was Customer Services Director from 1996-1998, and was subsequently appointed Managing Director as part of a change of ownership at the company in 2001.
Prior to this, Simon Weeks enjoyed success at the ERP vendor Ross Systems (UK) Ltd, where he worked in sales; at Cincom Systems Ltd, where he had ERP applications consulting and project management responsibilities; and in previous positions at Mentec (UK) Ltd and GEC Alsthom Turbine Generators Ltd.
Simon Weeks has a degree in Computer and Control Systems Engineering from Coventry (Lanchester) University.He lives near Manchester with his wife and three children.
