Sean Weeks is a southern California boy. After graduating high school in 1988, he worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Planner. In 1994, he discerned a calling to the monastic life and joined the Benedictine community of St. Andrew's Abbey in Valyermo, Ca.It was during this time that Sean was sent to Mount Angel Seminary to complete his studies for priesthood.During the process he discovered that he would rather follow a call to the priestly ministry as a diocesan priest here in the Archdiocese of Portland. So in 2003 he left the monastery and joined the diocese. He was ordained to the Order of Deacon in March of 2003 and to Priesthood on May 29th, 2004.

His present assignment is to Our Lady of the Lake in Lake Oswego.Although parish life keeps him pretty busy, Sean feels he has a calling to work with law enforcement personnel.Having grown up in a law enforcement family, he is well aware of the needs of the law enforcement community and decided to offer some volunteer time.
