It's natural that attorney alumni events will result in business, said Sandy N. Weeks, a former Miles lawyer who is now senior counsel at Ballard Spahr.Weeks said that after he attended Miles' reception, he remembers following up with fellow alumni on a few business leads.

"There's no question that anytime you get a group of people like that together who like each other, who have a personal history, something's going to come out of it," Weeks said.
