Roger Dandridge is vice-president of coated operations and Rick Watro will remain as vice-president of the Luke operation.

Rick Watro, Vice President of the Luke Operations said, "our understanding is that we`re going to have the ability to take this company as a new entity and focus on coated products and carbon as a new company and grow the business."

There are 1,200 employees here at this plant.Most are in shock right now.Company officials have said that they`ve had multiple meetings with employees since the announcement was made to ensure them that their jobs are not in danger.

Watro added, "all employees working for MEADWestVaco at that time at that time of closure will be offered positions within the new company."
