  Melanie provides clinical services to individuals, couples and to families of all ages. She facilitates groups and classes such as the mandated co-parent divorce class, bereavement groups and support groups for individuals struggling with a loved one with mental illness. Melanie provides public addresses and lectures on the above mentioned topics.
  
  Prior to JFS, Melanie worked at the Jewish Home and Care Center where she was a social worker and student supervisor, providing advocacy, assessment, support and monitoring of the geriatric population to assure optimum quality of care.

  Melanie Wasserman, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed independent clinical social worker who provides individual psychotherapy. She also facilitates bereavement groups and support groups for individuals whose loved ones are struggling with mental illness. She has completed certification programs in Trauma Counseling and in Marriage and Family Therapy. She earned her master's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Social Welfare.
