Dr. Martin Wasserman, distinguished professor of psychology and anthropology at Adirondack Community College, will present a program on German-Jewish writer Ernst Weiss on Monday, April 7, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in Eisenhart Hall, Room 210.

Dr. Wasserman will discuss his plan for writing chapbooks which include translations of German-Jewish authors who are not well-known to the American public because they died during the Holocaust.

"Weiss served in World War I as a soldier for the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and came by his pacifism earnestly after seeing first-hand the effects of war," said Dr. Wasserman.
