WILLIAMSBURG -- Mildred Washburn , a resident of Chambrel in Williamsburg and a former resident of Virginia Beach , died Aug. 30 , 2001
Mrs. Washburn was a 20-year member of the Ocean Park Women's Club , a Red Cross Bloodmobile volunteer and volunteered at Bayside and Mary Immaculate hospitals.She was a past member of Lynnhaven Colony United Congregational Church and was a current member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law , William and Arden Washburn of Newport News ; a daughter , Carla R. Rutz of Olympia , Wash. ; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private.Arrangements by Nelsen Funeral Home.
