    Roger Wamara, the sales manager, said on Wednesday in Kampala that the promotion is part of the company's Privilege Miles Programme.

    The programme allows a passenger upgrade air classes, pay for more trips and do duty-free shopping while flying.

    "We are rewarding our customers by giving them free flights to the rest of the world.They will enjoy all the benefits including duty-free shopping, gift sending and paying using their Miles accounts," Wamara said.

    He said the promotion would be conducted with American Airlines, British Airways, Air Portugal, Swiss airlines and FINNAIR.

    "There is going to be a reduction in the number of flights," said SN Brussels's Country Sales Manager, Mr Roger Wamara, on Thursday.

    "Instead of three flights a week we are going to have only two flights scheduled a week in the months of January, May and October 2005." Wamara said while the exercise will cause some minor inconveniences for travellers, the good news is that the airline will become one of the world's most modern.

    Earlier this year SN Brussels won an Airlines Excellence Award from Skytrax, for its passenger service before, during and the flight.

    Meanwhile, SN Brussels has signed a code-share agreement with American Airlines to fly to 14 African destinations, Mr Wamara said.

    Mr Roger Wamara, the Sales Manager of SN Brussels Uganda branch, said airlines miscalculated the trend of tourist movement into the country this time around and have been overwhelmed by the numbers.

    "This year the airlines had a miscalculation on the number of tourists coming to have summer holidays in Uganda.The number that came increased dramatically," he said.

    He, however, said despite the inconvenience of numbers, the airlines were making good on profits.SN Brussels charges $1,079 for major destinations to Europe in Economy Class and $2,000 for Business Class travellers.

    As a measure to solve the congestion problem he said SN Brussels has changed its flight time table with effects from September 1 to October 30 as follows: Mondays arrival 2205 departure 2300 SN 481, Wednesdays arrival 2205 departure 2300 SN 481, Friday arrival 2205 departure 2300 SN 481.
