Janis Walton

Janis Walton comes from a long line of performers and artists.From poets and writers to filmmakers and vaudeville stars, Janis grew up in a family environment that encouraged the arts.Her credits include five children ages 10 to 21 as well as numerous stage performances as a soloist, actor and ensemble member.

Janis began recording at age 8 and continued to train and perfect her craft as a vocalist until she suddenly realized, she was actually an actor who could sing rather than vice versa.She continued to train vocally but acting was suddenly in the mix.She has directed and performed theatrically for over 20 years now and her love is definitely the arts.Her other passion is ministry.Her strong church ministry background includes several church staff positions, as a Christian Education Director for seven years and in children, youth and worship ministries.Janis is married to Tad who is the pastor at Bellevue Community Church in Sun Valley, Idaho.She is their worship leader and teaches voice and directs theatre in the community.
