Paul Walters, Information Designer

At age 13, lacking his own Atari 2600, Walters bought his first computer and created custom graphics for his own video games.That began his path towards a career that includes the architecture and production of interactive design, user interface design, and audio and video production.With a degree in telecommunications from Indiana University, Walters enjoys bringing planned projects to fruition for such clients as RCA, GE, Motorola, EMI Records, Nickelodeon and the Discovery Channel.

Walters brings innovation as well as a sense of balance to every project: balance between the analog and digital eras; balance between design and programming; and balance between concept and execution.He believes that each project must meet three criteria: it must function properly, convey the desired message and have an exceptional design.

Of Interest:Walters is a creative Do-It-Yourselfer.His DIY projects include documenting hip-hop culture and history, DJ'ing, record collecting, performing and promoting.In the past 17 years, Walters has performed with several hip-hop legends, including De La Soul, Public Enemy, Doug E Fresh, DJ Kool Herc and Afrika Bambaataa.
