Owasso Reporter 04/12/2006 Kelly Walters, a third-grade teacher at Ator Elementary, has been named the district teacher of the year for 2005-06.

Walters began her teaching career at Ator in 2000 and is involved in many activities at the school, including yearbook advisor, "Can Wars" and the third-grade World Fair.

She and her husband, Richard, have two daughters, Rylie and Rinzey.

Walters said it was an honor to work in Owasso."I'm blessed teaching at Ator with so many amazing teachers," she said.
