Amy Walters awalters@laporte.com Amy Walters joined LaPorte Sehrt Romig Hand, Certified Public Accountants, in 2004 and currently serves as a Supervisor in the Tax Consulting Services Department. Amy graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management in 2003. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).

Originally from Asheville, NC Amy moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University. Amy joined the YLC in 2005 and has served as a board member, financial committee member and project leader. She is also a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, and Construction Financial Management Association. Amy is a finance committee member for Hands on New Orleans and a board member of New Orleans Faith Health Alliance, a member of the Junior League of New Orleans and the Krewe of Muses.

Amy Walters, Supervisor in LaPorte's Tax Consulting Department, along with Amy Verdin and Tiffany Lagattuta, coordinated the Salvation Army event and recruited LaPorte employees to shop for Christmas presents for children in our area who may otherwise not be able to have any presents this year.
