  Tracy Walsh is a Prenatal yoga teacher and an ensemble member of Lookingglass Theatre Company.She is a graduate of Northwestern University where she was a Performance Studies major.She is also the mother of two girls.
  
  Tracy was fortunate to be living in Los Angeles during her first pregnancy.A friend insisted that she attend a pregnancy yoga class in the home of a woman named Gurmukh khalsa.It was in the living room of this special teacher that Tracy experienced classes which profoundly moved and inspired her.Three years later, after relocating to Evanston, she decided to become a teacher herself.By that time, Gurmukh had outgrown her living room and had opened a studio called Golden Bridge Yoga Center.It was at this L.A. studio that Tracy received her Prenatal teacher certification.Tracy is delighted to be able to teach both in her own living room, and at the beautiful studio, Heaven Meets Earth.

  TRACY WALSH most recently directed The Old Curiosity Shop.She was last seen in Manuscript Found in Saragossa.Lookingglass acting credits include Hillbilly Antigone, The Secret in the Wings, Her Name Was Danger, S/M, 28, In the eye of the Beholder, and All Soul's Day.Also for Lookingglass, she assistant directed Hard Times and La Luna Muda, and choreographed Summertime.She has choreographed at the Goodman theatre, Court Theatre, Chicago Opera Theatre and Eclipse Theatre, and has performed locally, nationally and in Paris, France.

  As I type up this update, the Young Ensemble is working with Tracy Walsh (LTC Ensemble member) and Molly Feingold (LTC teaching artist), who will be heading up the two projects the Young Ensemble will be creating this year.

  At this point, I am still developing with the show's choreographer/movement director (ensemble member Tracy Walsh) what the physical vocabulary of the piece is going to be. We will have a week long workshop before rehearsals begin to develop some of the sequences with the cast. Tracy and I both have a lot of ideas and we will use exercises to find some things with the cast, but it will be all of us -- actors, choreographer, director, designers, dramaturgs -- playing and brainstorming the sections together as a creative team to finally come up with what the audience will see in the show.
