Invest Northern Ireland (INI), the economic development agency responsible for attracting U.S. and other foreign companies to Northern Ireland has opened its first office in Washington, D.C., and appointed Tracey Walsh as its leader.In her new role, Walsh, as vice president for business development, will be responsible for inward investment for U.S. companies in the mid-Atlantic region considering an operation in Northern Ireland.
A Belfast native, Ms. Walsh is experienced in developing trade connections for Northern Ireland and has served as a vice president in INI's international sales and marketing division since September 2003.
