ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Nancy Wainwright is a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Merrillville.She is secretary of the Sunday school that offers age-appropriate classes for preschoolers through senior high students and a member of The Night Out Group.This gathering regularly plans recreational activities as well as food drives to help local charitable organizations.Also, Wainwright serves as treasurer for the ladies' group Sisters in Christ.This assembly meets monthly and organizes fund-raisers to benefit the church and Camp Lutherhaven, as well as individuals and families of the community in times of need.Presently, Sisters in Christ is preparing for Taste of Trinity, a craft bazaar with vendors.Additionally, Wainwright sits on the Board of Education committee, is active in a greeting card ministry and is a member of a prayer chain."There is a lot of power in prayer," she said.
