Doug Wahl launched Visio Architects in 2002 out of his previous practice, Novus Architects where he had been a principal of his firm since 1988 and managing partner since 1994. While managing partner in his previous firm, Doug was responsible for the design and implementation of many significant projects. Prior to joining Novus his professional skills were honed at several established firms in both Detroit and Cleveland including Collins Rimer & Gordon, Ralph Calder & Associates and, O'Dell Hewlett & Luckenbach. Mr. Wahl serves on the Ohio City Design Review Committee (an advisory body to the Cleveland Landmarks Commission) since 1986 and, as a member of the Cleveland Restoration Society, provides pro-bono consultation on the preservation of historic landmarks.
