Harrison coach Neil Wagner didn't sound like a man who had just experienced an 0-10 season, capped by Friday night's 18-6 loss to Lebanon in Class 4A, Sectional 13 action.
Was Wagner frustrated that the Raiders suffered the program's first winless season?Sure.
But Wagner, who completed his fifth season with a 12-40 record, is committed to bringing the program back from this low point.
"Absolutely," Wagner said when asked if he planned to return next year.
This season spiraled downhill quickly with suspensions and injuries that beset the Raiders from the opening week.
"It started last summer, and it goes back to the commitment that we made," Wagner said.
...
"It's the same thing we've been talking about," Wagner said.
...
No," said Wagner, whose team was 5-5 last year.
