Olga A. Vorkunova is currently Director of the Center for Development and Peace Studies FORUM.She received her MA from Moscow State University and her PhD from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences.She is also Co-Director of TRANSCEND (A Peace and Development Network for Conflict Transformation by Peaceful Means) and a Senior Researcher at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations.She was a Member of ISSC/CEWS Steering Committee 1994-1999; Member of the International Peace Research Association's Council 1994-1998; and Member of the International Peace Research Association's Commission on Internal Conflicts and Their Resolution (ICON) 1994.She is editor of the Journal "Forum Stability Studies"; and has published and edited numerous articles and books on issues of conflict prevention and conflict resolution and theory of development and conflict, regional security and co-operation.
