Paul Vorkinn joined Schlumberger in 1983.

Under INTSOK's 9thAnnual Conference, Reslink's Marketing Vice President, Paul Vorkinn, gave a highly interesting presentation on successful strategic cooperation for deliveries to the Nigerian oil & gas industry.

The presentation, entitled Sand Screen Installations in Offshore Nigeria, tackled several options with regards to finding the best approach for conducting business with Nigeria- clearly high lighting the pros and cons of each option.

The public was presented by Reslink's "Internal Ground Rules" where Technology Control, Risk Management, Business Ethics Compliance and Long Term Perspectives were all regarded as critical and of imperative importance.

Vorkinn emphasized the fact that the "wheels" to a successful business are not always necessarily round , but that the "ride" can be rather bumpy.However, Vorkinn further shared with the public Reslink's insight from their flourishing experience in Nigeria: "We are doing well; increasing market- share, generating cash flow, getting familiar with challenges and opportunities and delivering value to our customers [in Nigeria ]!" he concluded.

Paul Vorkinn joined Schlumberger in 1983.

After a few years in field operations, he spent time in technology staff positions, marketing and line management working within drill stem testing, cementing, well stimulation, coiled tubing and nitrogen services, sand control and other related services.After a period away from Schlumberger working as a consultant, Vorkinn joined Reslink in 2001.Since then and until the acquisition of Reslink by Schlumberger, Vorkinn's main responsibilities have been within marketing and sales.
