Mark is now a J.D. candidate at American University, Washington College of Law, where he is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Human Rights Brief, a legal publication distributed in nearly 90 countries, and a member of the Student Advisory Board of the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.This past spring, Mark was selected to participate in the 37th Session of the United Nations Committee against Torture (UN CAT) that took place November, 2006 in Geneva, Switzerland.As a researcher and observer for Dean Claudio Grossman, Vice Chairman of the Committee, Mark gained intimate knowledge of the functioning of the UN Convention against Torture and its role in safeguarding individuals from State Party abuses.

Mark continues to pursue initiatives to raise awareness and prohibit torture, both through his capacity at the Human Rights Brief and his research on recent efforts to legitimize torture in situations of national security.
Watts, Major Sean: Major Watts is currently an Associate Professor at The U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's School in Charlottesville, Virginia.He is also a Lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law.In fall, he will join the faculty of Creighton University Law School to teach Constitutional Law, Post-Conviction Relief, and Military Law.His current teaching profile includes courses in the Law of War, International Criminal Law, Human Rights, and Post Conflict Governance.
