   Vitacca oversees the Professional Development department, supervising a staff of five who focus on all programs that advance knowledge and learning for anyone interested in continuing their education within the industry. She works with MPI members and internal teams to streamline and enhance the educational opportunities and offerings while keeping abreast of emerging trends in learning and development.
   
   Vitacca brings over 13 years of education and training experience from classroom teaching to education administration. Her career has taken her to several states where she has worked in the public school system in California, as a Residential Dean and Writing Instructor at Stanford University, as part of the Executive Team at a community college in San Antonio, as an education specialist in corporate America, and most recently, as a Director of Education for a non-profit trade association in Houston. She holds a Bachelor's in History and a Master's in Education from Stanford University.
