   Patricia McCann Vissepo is executive director of Casa Otonal, a unique community based organization that provides an array of housing, social , educational and cultural services to Hispanic elders, families and children.Under Patricia's leadership, Casa Otonal has grown into a five-property campus, serving as an oasis of beauty and safety in the City.Patricia was raised in Puerto Rico.She attended St. John's Preparatory School in Santurce, Puerto Rico and the City College of New York.She has served on numerous boards ranging from Planned Parenthood of Connecticut to the LULAC Scholarship Fund.She is a cancer survivor and the proud mother of two natural sons, Rafael and Omar, one foster son, Greg, and grandson, Inaki.

   Ms. McCann Vissepó is the executive director of Casa Otoñal and it is her living legacy.She has been involved with Casa Otoñal since the early 1980's.She served as president of the board for seven years before becoming executive director in 1993.

   Ms. McCann Vissepó was appointed to the New Haven Board of Education in 1990, and became the first Puerto Rican woman to serve as chairperson in 1992.She served as chair for six years.
