Before becoming a teacher Jennifer Visbisky worked with children at the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization that fulfills the wishes of children fighting life-threatening illnesses.Her career there brought her to the realization that she wanted to help children for a prolonged period of time - not just a few days.

"I was greatly influenced to become a teacher because of my own experiences as a student.My teachers served as my role models in both elementary and high school," she says.
