   Irene Violinets is the co-ordinator of the Centre for Students with Disabilities at Centennial College. She has worked with students with disabilities at Centennial College since 1988. As well Irene is the current Chair of the College Committee on Disability Issues, a provincial body set up over 10 years ago to allow colleges within the system to share information and collaborate on issues that will assist in best meeting the needs of students with disbailities. Irene's academic background includes a B.A. in Sociology, a B.Ed. with a focus on disability issues, an M.A. in Sociology, and an M.Ed. in Applied Psychology. Currently she is enrolled in an Ed.D. program in Applied Psychology focusing on Adults with Disabilities.
